the clock overall is in very nice condition, but there are a few hurts. Some time ago a good cabinet man made a weight baffle of birds eye maple. The dial has been repainted and needs professional restoration to proper Howard style. One glass side panel is cracked, the weight is newer and has no cast-in number, the movement is correct Howard style and size but is unsigned. the pendulum tie-down is loose, and the finials may not be original although of very good quality and appearance. The nickel-plated pendulum bob retains its engraved pattern. Ht 46"
