Birge and Fuller, Bristol, Conn.8 days, fusee time and strike, movement steeple on frame with candle finials shelf clock, c.1846. Mahogany veneered case with old and possibly original finish with small veneer pieces missing at the top and on the base and small damage to the side left molding. Original painted dial with some loss at mounting pins. Original hands. The case was drilled for a wagon spring driven movement but there is no evidence that it ever had one. The two geometric glasses are original. The case has a very nice label inside. Ht 26".
