Benjamin Morrill, Boscawen, N.H., NH mirror clock, 8 days, time only, weight driven iron plate movement in a picture frame style case with mirror tablet and reverse painted dial surround and painted metal dial, c1825 the case front, top glass and dial are in untouched original condition. The case housing the movement and dial has been repainted black. This movement does not have the typical NH wheelbarrow plates, they are rectangular and made of iron. The movement is fastened with fillister screws with nuts on the backboard. The keystone on the pendulum is very distinctive with a cutout on the inside lower left corner.
