Brown, Bristol, Conn., "Acorn" mantel clock, 8 days, time and strike, spring driven fusee movement in a laminated and rosewood veneered case with reverse painted tablet and painted metal dial, c1847 the clock has been professionally restored with later elements including the dial, tablet, sides of case and backboard. Original period elements include the base, side arms, front door, movement, fusees and blocks. Newer parts are apparent only on close examination. We have provided a conservative estimate in our effort to attract attention. Ht 24"
