the case retains its original finish with losses to very top of original fretwork and the sidelights are absent. There are old repairs to original ogee bracket feet. The dial signature is fading and there is some inpainting. The finials are absent and the pendulum needs a rating nut. Notes from Chris Bailey: American-made dial. I don't think the case is walnut. Hard to tell, but more likely maple or cherry with darkened finish. Nice original hands, interesting American-made movement. With professional cleaning and restoration of the dial and some finials, this would be a very nice New England clock. Ht 86"
