Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, "Base and Ball" model mantel clock with 12" special dial, very heavy polished, cast brass case, silvered Arabic numeral dial and serpentine hands with black finish, 8 days, movement with ships bell striking, originally sold to Bennett & Brooks in 1919 as recorded in the Chelsea account books, serial #132719 Case restored, good polish and lacquer, one small ding in base above right front foot, dial and hands very good, probably also restored, dial with a few scratches, and minor marks consistent with age, running and striking, This is a very heavy clock.
