the black stone case has become faded and dull, but the black dial, with gold applied numerals, remains glossy. The little bronze plates across the bottom depict classical figures. The top gallery is complete. The minute hand and pendulum are absent. The small lever, actuated from the front below the VI, nudges the pendulum rod and then spring back out of the way. Ht 15"
