France, spelter or white metal with gilt finish figural clock, and with good pendule a Paris movement, the dial signed Brossier, and the case showing a young boy in knickers playing the bag pipes, c1900

the case has been painted over with gold paint many years ago, and even that has turned dull. There are no major breaks to the case; one small screw repair to hold the fence in place, otherwise casting is good except as follows; there are two age holes in the spelter in the facade to the right of the dial, below 8. The well made bell strike movement is sound, but will require cleaning, no pendulum (replacements available from Timesavers in AZ) An interesting motif for anyone Scottish or with an interest in bag pipes.
