Atkins & Porter, Bristol, CT, 8 day brass movement time and strike, weight driven OG shelf clock with label of J. J. & W. Beal's Clock Establishment, Boston, c 1844. Refinished, nicely figured mahogany veneer case with small veneer loss on the top right corner and the lower OG molding. Original wood painted dial shows wear and some paint loss. Hands are original. The William B. Fenn tablet is original with some loss and restoration around the border and bears the name of Atkins & Porter, Bristol, Ct. Ht 29 1/2".
