Hamburg American Clock Co., Germany, 8 days, time and strike, shelf clock in walnut veneered wooden case in the French style with applied cast foliate ornament, case top with small cast finial, brass bezel with beveled glass, Arabic numeral white enamel dial, blued steel hands, dated 1899 on label. Case veneer has minor darkening, checking and loss of finish, some ornaments loose, dial has minor hairlines, hands have minor scratches, movement ticks and strikes, but will needs service. An attractive clock in generally very good condition. Remains of paper label inside rear door. Ht 15 1/2"
