Mahogany veneered case with old, possibly original finish with a couple of small chips on the base and some small chips on the top cornice. Original signed painted dial with minor wear and a little loss at the mounting pins. Hands are original. Both decalcomania tablets are original. Someone in the past added the large brass feet on the bottom which should be removed. Readable label inside the case shows Brown factory which burned in 1853.
