Ansonia Brass & Copper Co., Ansonia, Conn., 8 days, time and strike, shelf clock with William A. Terry's patent calendar rosewood veneer shelf clock, c1874. Original finish is heavily worn. The hands are original. The original painted dial is in excellent condition with very minor flaking at the strike side winding arbor. There are veneer pieces missing on the base front and right side as well as both sides of the door frame. The finials do not appear to be original.
