Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Sicily" black enameled iron 8 days, time and strike, mantel clock with visible escapement, c1894 the black enamel is original, with some slight wear and corrosion, but the gold accents have been skillfully redone. The dragon side handles retain an old patina. The dial and glass are okay, the pallets are steel. The movement, correctly signed, ticks and strikes. Ht 11"
