Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, for Abercrombie & Fitch, "Chinese Lacquer" model 8 11/16" square bronze case easel desk clock, #277883, 1941 the lacquered dial and silvered chapter ring behind the thick beveled glass are pristine, but traces of the floral pattern on the outer frame remain only the bottom edge, and all surfaces have an old bronze patina. Hands are original. Screws on the back look newer, as does the thin chain and rivets on the hinged strut. Movement ticks and sets. Ht standing is 8"
