we find this maker listed as "Howieson" in our references but believe it is the same man. His working dates are shown as 1808-22. The refinished case, with brass lion-head handles, is in good overall condition with small dings an areas of slight veneer lifting. The signed white porcelain dial has some repaired damage. The movement is unsigned, wants to tick but not strike so will need attention. The pendulum is incorrect but functional. Ht 14"
