the ornate case has a high-gloss finish which appears to be old. One glass side panel has a tiny corner chip.. The porcelain dial has small hairlines under the winding holes. The pallets are red jewels. The fancy simulated-mercury pendulum is fine. The movement, which ticks and strikes, is correctly signed. Ht 16"
