Scottish tall clock, 8 days, time and strike,, weight driven movement in a mahogany veneered case with painted iron dial with date calendar, c1840 the case retains an old finish. There is shrinkage in base on front and left side. There are minor veneer chips on the hood above the dial. The movement is complete but needs service. The risers for the seat board are replaced. The pendulum is a replacement. Ht 89 1/2"
