the Eureka appears to have a nicely restored "Barbedienne" finish, the Royal's looks original. The Eureka multicolor dial, with visible escapement, has a few flaws on the inner porcelain disk; the Royal's dial has a dark crack and chips around a winding hole. The Eureka is missing several case elements connected to the gargoyles. The beveled glasses are okay. The top ornament on the Royal has been broken and repaired, its lower painted porcelain panel is fine. The round movements are correctly signed. Hts 10" and 18"
