Ships - 1943", Arabic numeral metal dial and black steel, spade and poker hands, in a gimbaled bowl, contained in a mahogany box with name plate on front, serial #2F26390, c1943, with outer protective box, "Care and Handling of the Hamilton Marine Chronometer" booklet, and "Correct Time" display card inside lid. CASE: Outer box refinished and with minor scratches; Inner box refinished, minor marks and scratches; Gimbal and bowl in old lacquer, good, no ordnance markings on bowl weight; Plastic crystal with minor scratches. DIAL: Good with minor scratches. HANDS: Very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Specks of dirt / dust. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), would benefit from service, booklet with layer scotch tape on covers, display card very good.
