the case has been regrained and the bottom board of the throat is cracked. The base board has been knocked out and crudely repaired. The dial shows wear. Both tablets have been repainted. The pendulum has multiple dents around perimeter. Original hands. As with many Howard & Davis clocks, the original movement bears no markings Ht 38"
