English-made, double fusee, bell striking skeleton clock with heavy scroll frame on heavy brass plinth and rosewood base, c1850 the replacement dome just fits to the first stage of the brass plinth, however is in good condition and will keep the dust out. This movement is made to very high quality standards, with 6 spoke wheels through the 2 trains. Nice lenticular pendulum with scalloped rod. The brass plinth is signed in script "GG 7/08", and may belong in the rear of the clock, as it is reversible. Ht of frame and bell = 12", ht overall = 18"
