Mirror front case in as found condition with a very dark original finish in need of a cleaning. The dial glass is very old and the reverse painting looks to be original with significant loss. The mirror is period, but the protective backboard is missing. Original painted iron dial has age darkened with some wear to the numbers and some loss at the mounting pins. Hands are original. There is a weight with this timepiece, but probably not original as Abbott used a wide thin weight guided by the vertical wires inside the case. Ht 30 1/2"
