Birge & Fuller, Bristol, Conn., 8 days, time and strike Ives patent eight day wagon spring steeple on frame or double steeple shelf clock, c1845 Partially refinished mahogany veneered case with a couple veneer repairs on the base, on the right front base molding and on the upper left and right molding. The left upper finial has some tip damage. Original dial has been repainted. Hands are replacements. Tablets are proper style, but may not be original. Movement is signed. Fairly clean label inside the case. Ht 27 1/2"
