the case retains its original rosewood graining in excellent condition. There are glue repairs to lower dial supports and a 5" split to lower left backboard. Multiple holes used to secure case to wall are now filled and overpainted. There are areas of discoloration and losses near mounting screws on the dial. Both glasses have been professionally repainted in the E. Howard & Co. (red and black) style. The weight is a replacement Hands are original. As with many Howard & Davis clocks, the original movement bears no markings. Ht 38"
