Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Hanging Antique" time & hour/half hour gong strike weight wall clock in oak case profusely decorated with cast brass trimmings, c1885 this clock has some losses; the cast pendulum has been replaced with an Ansonia smooth pendulum. Oak case has lost its original finish and could use a coat of shellac. Cast ornaments need polishing and attention. Movement is complete and spiral weights are original. The dial is loose and has a replaced brass insert in its center. Ht 46 1/2"
