France, 3-piece mantel set, "3-Cherubs" supporting a star studded ball containing the movement, time indicated by "arrow" hands, all 3 with bases of white marble, and ormolu swag accents, and each candle stand with rose cups for 5 candles, and with cylinder platform, bell strike movement intact, C.1880 this clock was shipped to us from Europe, and one of the threaded studs from a cherub's hand through the ball has come out, and is taped inside the globe. The movement seems to run and strike OK; we replaced the hand pin so the hands would not get lost, you can fit a better hand washer. Movement access is via a threaded portion of the globe in rear. Note if we ship this a long distance, we will dis-assemble the ball from the cherubs and the cherubs from the base. Ht 20"
