Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Regulator No. 5" wall clock, 8 days, time only, brass weight driven movement in a mahogany case with painted metal dial, c1900 the case retains its excellent original finish with a slight chip on the left side of the crest and a 5" thin strip of wood that has been broken off and the area colored in. The dial has significant inpainting and some flaking. This is a very desirable and rare Chelsea model, of which in 35 years we have sold only one from the Larry Rappaport collection in 2001 for $7250 plus 10% buyer's premium.
