English tall clock, 8 days time and strike,, weight driven movement in a hard wood case with arched hood and applied columns and brass dial with date calendar, c.1780 the case has an old finish, nicely rubbed down. There are saw marks on the riser and parts of it have been anchored with nails. This is an appealing clock with good proportions. The weights are replacements. Ht 87"
