(2) Terry & Andrews, Bristol, Conn., 30 hours, time and strike, spring brass movement sharp gothic or steeple clock, c1850 (1) Black painted with gilt moldings now painted gold with some loss on the base. Original tablet with scattered loss to the black background. Original painted with some wear and minor loss at the mounting screws. The movement looks to be copy of an American design, but with the plates held together with nuts. The label inside the case with variations was used by Junghans. (2) Mahogany veneered case in an old finish with some veneer loss on the left front molding, Original tablet is cracked. Dial has been repainted and may not be original. Period hands are mismatched. Most of label is missing.
