The case retains a nice finish. The hands are later replacements, The painted dial has minor loss. The decalcomania tablet with ÓView of BostonÒ is original. The movement, while unmarked, is a Forestville Mfg. Co. movement of that period. The excellent overpasted label lists F. J. Wild, 106 Murraygate, Dundee (Scotland) as the importer of American Clocks. A check of the Dundee City Directory of 1846 lists Mr. F. J. WildÕs Clock Business at this address. Ht 25 3/4Ó.
