the bronzed surface is dull and is wearing along the edges of the heavy brass case. The silvered chapter ring has a few minor tarnish spots, the thick beveled glass is fine. There is a long dedication at the top from the McCall Co. The movement ticks and sets but was not tested long term. 6Ò square
