(2) Ansonia Brass Co., Ansonia, Conn.ÓOGÒ with spring driven, 30 hours, time and strike, movement in a miniature rosewood veneered OOG case, c1865. (1) The mahogany case has some original finish but there appears to be additional stain applied over the finish. There are small areas of veneer damage in several locations. The hands are replacements. The painted dial has darkened with age and there is paint loss at the winding holes and screw holes. The movement was likely signed but the letters have been stamped out and are not readable. The tablet and upper door glass are original. Ht 26Ó. (2) The finish has been rubbed off. The painted dial has minimal loss at the screw holes. The hands, tablet and upper door glass are original with some loss to the tablet. Ht 18 1/2Ò.
