the heavy stone case is in very nice condition except for some minor corner chips. The maroon marble half-columns, and the bold two-color incised scrolls, add to the appeal. The porcelain dial with raised cartouche numbers is fine, as is the beveled glass. Hands are original. The movement winds, ticks and strikes, with the balance wheel visible threw out the dial aperture. Ht 9 3/4Ò
