Welch, Spring & Co., Forestville, Conn., ÒVerdiÓ, 8 days, time and strike, spring brass movement wall clock, c1878 Rosewood veneered case in original finish with a veneer repair on the bottom from molding tip, on the top of the door and veneer splits on the bottom. Original painted dial with some crude in-painting to the numbers and mismatched repair in the center of the seconds dial. Original hands. Pendulum bob has a small dent. Remains of original gilding on the bottom door molding. Nice label on the back of the case. Ht 31Ò
