Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., REGULATOR B with calendar, oak cased wall clock, with 12 inch dial, and Regulator tablet, c1910 (1) This case in walnut and burl walnut veneer is one of the nicest examples we have seen. The veneer is very nice, unlike on most examples of this model. Some of the original finish remains. The original painted dial is flaking severely and will need attention. The ÓSTÒ hands appear period. The door glass is original. The movement is signed. Ht 15 3/4Ó; (2) this clock retains its original finish, dirt and all, waxed to a golden color on high spots. The paper dial has some stains and has darkened. The original pendulum is original, rating nut replaced with one that fits a bit tight. Ht 29Ò
