English, a lower caliber single fusee skeleton clock, passing hour strike, with a silvered brass dial and a round glass dome, c1900 although a bit larger than most of the skeleton clocks in this sale, this clock represents work c1900, when frame and dial kits could be purchased in London for converting abandoned fusee pub clock movements into skeleton clocks. The original movement probably became available because the chain broke, now with gut which has likewise failed and will need replacing. Overall a well made clock that will restore nicely.
