(3) French, 8 days, time and strike, spring brass movement ebonized wood case mantel clock, c1900 (4) French, unknown maker, 8 days, time and strike, spring brass movement with silk thread suspension brass and enamel inlayed wood case mantel clock, c1845 (1) Black marble case with some roughness on the back edges and the front edge of the base. Original porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. Serial number on the pendulum matches the movement. Movement needs a bell. (2) Black marble case with a small chip on right side base. The numbers on the dial have some wear. Hour hand is missing. The rear door bezel, lacking a glass, is included along with the proper pendulum. (3) At first glance this case looks to be marble, but is an enameled wood case with a small near crack near 10 oÕclock. Original porcelain dial is perfect and the hands and pendulum are original. Ht 13 3/4Ò (4) Ebonized wood case with brass and enamel inlay with some small dings on the front base molding and small piece of veneer missing on the back. Original porcelain dial is fine and the hands are original. The simple pendulum is missing, but is available from Merritfs or Timesavers.
