the heavy brass case shows signs of having been silver plated at one time, but little remains. The brass has an old patina. The silvered chapter ring shows some tarnish and behind it is metal with a mottled surface. The beveled glass has some chips on the top left edges. The movement ticks and sets but was not tested long term. 8Ò square
