there is a nice glossy finish, probably rubbed out, on the turned and carved ornate case, but the top crest is new and does not quite match. The front glass is absent, one side panel is cracked. There are some minor veneer and wood losses, and there are old woodworm holes. The white enamel dial has many cracks, and the weights are not brass. The movement appears complete but was not tested.
