William Whichcord, Ingatestone, England, tall case clock, 8 days, time, strike and calendar, weight driven movement in a walnut case with crotch mahogany veneer trunk door and a painted iron dial, c1820 the case has a good more modern finish. There are restorations to left rear of trunk and a split to lower left plinth. The fret work is replaced and there are splits in both sides of hood and arch molding. The dial is in good condition. The weights are period but not matching. Ht 90Ó
