Skeleton clock, England, brass, 8 days, time only, mantel clock with chain-driven fusee, white marble base, oval glass dome (cracked), c1880 the brass retains a nice glossy patina, and the movement ticks okay with its cylindrical pendulum. The base, with applied gold paint around one horizontal level, may have had some restoration, and the oval dome does not fit it well. The domeÕs crack has some glue which may help it from spreading. Ht with dome 16 1/2Ó
