(3) Welch, Spring & Co., Forestville, Conn., 8 day. double dial calendar timepiece, c1880 (1) Refinished walnut and walnut veneer case in good condition. Carved flowers that are found between the two dials are missing. Paper time dial has wear and is oil stained as is the original paper calendar dial. Large pointer hand on the calendar dial is missing. Time dial hands appear original. (2) Refinished oak case in very nice condition. Original painted calendar dial with minor loss at the mounting screws. Calendar hand is original. Time dial, hands and pendulum are missing. Nice labels on back of the case. (3) Rosewood veneered case in original finish with dings and scratches and a small piece of veneer missing on the lower right side of the case. Original painted time dial with minor loss at the mounting screws, in the center and at the winding arbor. Original calendar dial has age darkened. Original calendar hands on both dials. Time movement is missing. Clock has original hour hand, pendulum, wood pendulum rod, and brass rod that trips the calendar. Nice label inside the case.
