(1) Unknown. Half column case with evidence to suggest this case originally had a standard Terry type and is now fitted with a modern copy of a Torrington movement. There is no dial or hands. Tablet is modern. Cap is missing on one chimney. (2) Seth Thomas. Mahogany veneered case in original finish with minor loss. Original painted dial with some loss and poor repairs. Minute hand a replacement. Original tablet with loss. There are no weights. (3) Mark Leavenworth. Stripped mahogany veneered case with repairs. Half columns inside the case. One chimney cap missing. Both glasses, dial and hands are missing. One weight is missing. Late example with label recognizing Eli TerryÕs patent. (4) E. Terry & Sons. Mahogany veneered case in original finish. Top splat is missing. Dial is not original and the wrong size. Hands are original. Tablet is a replacement. Weights are missing. (5) Samuel Terry. Half column case in an old and possibly original finish. Movement is a replacement as it is an 8 days movement and does not fit the case. Good label, but for a 30-hour clock. The dial is original to the movement. Tablet is modern. There are no hands or weights.
