the inlaid case is nicely made and in very nice condition. Its hood is removable as with larger standing clocks, but one finial is damaged at its base. The door latches are turned with guitar tuning knobs. There are spacers under the newer seatboard, the painted metal dial attachment is unusual and the bottom of the chapter ring is hidden by the bonnet mask. The movement appears complete and fairly clean, ticks and strikes on a bell, but the wagon springs were not tensioned. Ht 49Ò
