there is a lovely old patina on the ornate 18th century case, with no losses or damage. The signed porcelain dial has a few tiny chips and hairline, and the convex beveled glass is fine. The large movement, which ticks and strikes, has been converted from thread suspension, and the pendulum is newer. Ht 21Ó
