Abraham Schwartz, Montgomery County, Penn., tall case clock, 8 days, time, strike and calendar, weight driven movement in a walnut case with mahogany veneered trunk door and accents, reeded corner columns flanking trunk door, broken arch, delicate French feet and painted iron dial, c1820 the movement and case are associated but work well. The case has several repairs including in the broken arch, trunk door and a split in the base plinth in the front and side. The pendulum is absent. The dial has a blemish on the lower left corner, but is in otherwise good condition. Ht 87Ó
