The burled veneer has some minor splits and cracks, and there is evidence that the case was rubbed out to brighten the finish. The porcelain dial is fine, as is the convex glass. The signed and numbered movement ticks and strikes. The gong stand is present but needs to be reattached to the case (removed for shipment). This balloon style case is very desirable. Ht 13 1/2Ó
