the brass is brightly polished and lacquered. One back foot is slightly bent. The dial is a newer restoration with applied numbers, and shows some discoloration. A small side lever triggers the strike repeat, and the alarm winds by pulling a string at the top. The clock ticks, strikes and rings its alarm but was not tested long term. Ht 9 1/2Ó
