Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, ÒUndine (base) and Gloria (statue)Ó mantel clock with an, 8 days, time and strike, movement in a cast metal case, c1904. The clock is in very good condition with some restoration to the finish. The statue retains some original bronze finish but shows some restoration in terms of the addition of a Verdi green finish. The base also shows a similar restoration of the finish. The movement is signed. The hands and dial are original with some minor chipping at the time winding hole, See Tran Duy LyÕs Ansonia Book, p385. Overall this is a very nice looking example of this model. Ht 28 1/4Ò
