English, Skeleton clock, single fusee passing strike clock, attributed to Haycock of Ashbourne, in an architectural frame with heavy baluster pillars and 6 spoke wheelwork throughout (except 3 spoke on hour reduction gear), and with a pierced silvered brass dial with scalloped edge, with dome, c1850 the velour covering the plinth is worn and needs recovering; otherwise this is a very well made clock, finished before factory production of skeletons began, Ht of frame to bell tip = 16Ó overall with dome and base = 22Ò
